Bayit was commissioned for Litvak Dance in San Diego as part of their holiday show LIGHT in collaboration with Yale Strom which presents a new kind of winter production that honors the diverse histories and practices of our communities.

Bayit is a celebration of community and surrendering to the power of collectivity. The movement draws from old Yiddish folk dances mixed with contemporary movement to highlight the viscerality of rhythm and to connect to each other and the earth through listening.
